Financial Services
Financial Services interns are often interested in the field, but have not yet decided on a specific career path. There are two distinct internships offered within Financial Services:
- Representative Shadow Internship — Interns work closely with a representative and learn how to service clients, prepare investment proposals, analyze retirement and college savings needs, and more. In addition to job shadowing, interns will also carry out various administrative tasks.
- Fast Track Internship — Interns are college seniors who have already decided to pursue a career in financial services. This option is available the final semester of a student's senior year — whether they are graduating in May or December. Interns will work closely with a member of the management team and have the opportunity to attend training sessions provided by First Investors. Upon completion of the internship and graduation from college, qualified interns may be offered a full-time position with First Investors.
