Recruiting
Recruiting interns are given real-world exposure to a successful recruiting career; experience that they can carry over to any industry. This track also has two distinct internships:
- Administrative Recruiter Internship — Interns work closely with Recruiting Specialists and get first-hand experience searching for and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, observing the interview process, and participating in the final selection of candidates. Administrative Recruiter interns may also have the opportunity to attend a seminar that covers important recruiting topics, such as staffing, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and more.
- Executive Recruiter Internship — Interns work with a Regional Recruiter and learn how to forge new relationships with colleges and universities as a means of developing a pool of qualified candidates. Interns also learn how to maintain strong ties at colleges and universities that already have an existing relationship with First Investors. Executive Recruiter interns may also have the opportunity to attend a seminar that covers important recruiting topics, such as staffing, benefits, compensation, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and more.
